H2O FARM

H2O Farm in Guilford Connecticut specializes in growing leafy greens in a state-of-the-art automated hydroponic greenhouse. We grow various types of lettuce, mainly Butterhead and Romaine, using water as our growing medium.

Our Systems

Our system incorporates high performance methods, resulting in what we believe is probably the best growing technique in the world. We grow commercial quantities of hydroponic leafy green vegetables, herbs and vine plants, while making optimal use of resources such as water, energy, labor and land.

Products

Our produce is grown in a closed greenhouse, protected from harsh weather, insects and pests, and is cleaner and healthier than most field-grown similar crops. We do not wash our produce with chlorine and other harmful chemicals. In fact, we do not wash our crops at all, simply because we do not need to. Our greens are fresher, cleaner, tastier, crispier, and have better quality and longer shelf-life.

H2O Farm

H2O Farm specializes in growing leafy greens in a state-of-the-art automated hydroponic greenhouse. We grow various types of lettuce, mainly Butterhead and Romaine, using water as our growing medium. Our patented technology provides better and safer crops for you, and is by far kinder to the environment.

Choosing H2O Farm’s products gives the east-coast consumer, for the first time, the ability to make a smart Eco-friendly choice: buy excellent quality locally produced vegetables, and make a positive contribution to both your community and to the environment.

Growing our produce locally, close to the consumers’ homes, is reducing carbon footprint by eliminating the need to transport produce from the west coast, saves on gas and packaging materials, and creates more jobs right here. Growing by using advanced hydroponic methods ensures you get the best leafy greens you can find, and the occurrence of undesirable insects is prevented. You are not the only one benefiting from the advantages of our hydroponic know-how: using hydroponics saves up 90% water compared to traditional agriculture,  and also prevents fertilizers seeping into the soil, polluting it and salinating ground water.
